Fully accredited by the CEPH, the Master of Public Health program enables UNLV students to promote and protect the well-being of diverse communities as ethical public health practitioners. Primary focus areas are Social and Behavioral Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Health Care Administration and Policy, or Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Graduate students are given the fundamental skills and theories for championing policy changes that effectively solve community-based health challenges. MPH students build hands-on experience with applied fieldwork and a culminating research thesis. There’s also an active Public Health Student Association (PHSA) for networking opportunities.
